Speech and Language Therapists are registered with an organisation called HCPC which makes sure they are working in a way that is safe and effective.
My HCPC registration number is SL28024.
Speech and Language Therapists also join an organisation called the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, who make sure they stay up to date, and ask the government to do more to help people to communicate.
My RCSLT number is RC0030029.
